Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Prepare cytology slides and cell block preparations from Non Gynecologic Specimens for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Cytotechnicians, Cytopathologists and Pathologists. Perform pre-analytical procedures including labeling, preparing aliquots, specimen processing, laboratory waste disposal and decontamination of laboratory areas.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education</li>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED:</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<li>Two (2) years experience as a Cytology Preparations Technician in a clinical or pathology laboratory highly preferred.</li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience in the use and application of computers.</li>\n<li>Ability to understand and apply accurate procedures in specimen handling and clerical processing.</li>\n<li>Good communication and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to provide accurate information and instructions.</li>\n<li>Strong computer keyboarding skills.</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>3:00pm - 11:30pm\n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>No",
