          "text": "<p><strong>Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities (</strong>Other duties may be assigned.)</p><ul><li>Operations &amp; Production Management<ul><li>Lead and manage department managers within the foundry operations, including molding, core making, pouring, and finishing, as assigned.</li><li>Establish foundry goals and objectives; monitor and evaluate operating performance; provide direction, judgment, leadership, and technical expertise to maximize efficiency</li><li>Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality, safety, and cost targets</li><li>Monitor production metrics such as throughput, yield, scrap, rework, and on time delivery</li><li>Coordinate with planning to ensure material availability and efficient workflow</li><li>Troubleshoot production and process issues to minimize downtime and disruptions</li></ul></li><li>Quality Management<ul><li>Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures</li><li>Work closely with Quality to reduce scrap, defects, and customer returns</li><li>Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions</li><li>Ensure proper documentation, process control, and adherence to ISO or customer requirements</li></ul></li><li>Cross-Functional Support<ul><li>Work with Maintenance and Engineering to ensure equipment uptime and reliability</li><li>Participate in capital planning, equipment repairs, upgrades, and new installations</li><li>Manage departmental budget as well as control labor, materials, energy, and consumable costs</li><li>Identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising safety or quality.</li><li>Evaluate new technology and how it can be applied to enhance the operation</li><li>Attend trade shows and other events to promote capacity and capabilities of the facility</li></ul></li><li>People Leadership &amp; Workforce Development<ul><li>Directly manage managers, supervisors, leads, and production teams across shifts</li><li>Hire, train, coach, and develop employees to build a skilled, accountable workforce</li><li>Manage labor planning, scheduling, and performance evaluations</li><li>Foster employee engagement, teamwork, and adherence to company values</li></ul></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
