Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our Rollinsford, NH team! The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.
Wage: 38-45hr DOE
***SIGN ON BONUS for 6/8/26 or 6/15/26 start dates***

Responsibilities
Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations Maintains accurate records and logs as required Installs new system controls (including power wiring) Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers Services and replaces motors and lighting Performs general electrical maintenance Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred 6+ years electrical experience preferred 3+ years of instrumentation preferred PLC troubleshooting experience VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) troubleshooting and programming experience preferred Experience reading blueprints, schematics and P&ID’s Knowledge of Data Control Systems (DCS) Experience with 480v and below Must be willing to jump in and assist maintenance and other teams when needed Exposure to multi-disciplinary maintenance tasks preferred Mechanically inclined is an asset Lift up 50lb, working at heights, confined/tight spaces, stooping, bending, standing for long periods of time Must be able to work in all weather conditions,
