This is more than a job, it’s a path to a rewarding career.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Delivery & Material Handling </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist CDL Drivers with daily delivery routes to residential and commercial job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries </li>\n <li>Verify trucks are loaded and secured in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards</li>\n <li>Safely unload, stage, and place materials at job sites based on customer specifications, including rooftop or multi-level deliveries when required</li>\n <li>Utilize equipment such as dollies, flat carts, and Moffett/piggyback forklifts (if trained) to efficiently move materials</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Inventory</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>When required, participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Safety</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Physical Requirements </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation</li>\n <li>Frequent lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of building materials (including drywall and steel stud) weighing up to 100 lbs, individually or as part of a team </li>\n <li>Frequently driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day</li>\n <li>Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights.  Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.  Some functions may be performed as a team</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Miscellaneous </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li>\n <li>Prior experience in<strong> </strong>building materials, construction, distribution, or delivery environments preferred or a willingness to learn</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience loading, securing, and unloading materials such as drywall, lumber, roofing, or similar products</li>\n <li>Familiarity with job site deliveries and working alongside drivers on delivery routes</li>\n <li>Forklift or Moffett experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained)</li>\n <li>Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally at job sites</li>\n <li>Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong></p>\n<p>Branch Manager</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation </u></strong></p>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
