          "text": "<p>The New York City Law Department’s Family Court Division is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Unit Chief for the Interstate Child Support Unit.<br><br>Job Description:<br><br>-\tLaw Department’s Liaison with the NYC Human Resources Administration;<br>-\tDirectly oversee Borough Supervisory Staff;<br>-\tAdvance both internal and external training;<br>-\tManage the daily operations of the Interstate Child Support Unit (ICSU);<br>-\tServe as the chief legal advisor for ICSU case processing and litigation;<br>-\tEnsure timely case processing through all phases of litigation;<br>-\tEstablish litigation and administrative policies for the Unit;<br>-\tServe as the Division’s liaison to city and statewide agencies, including but not limited to the Office of Temporary Disability Assistance, the Human Resources Administration’s Office of Child -Support Services, and the Office of Court Administration.<br><br>This position requires travel to all boroughs and may include working extended hours.<br><br><br>MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS<br><br>The successful candidate will have at least ten (10) years of relevant experience and a demonstrated knowledge of and experience in Family Law, the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act and the Civil Practice Law and Rules. Other necessary qualifications include strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and leadership skills.
