The successful applicants will be ambitious and energetic individuals who enjoy diversity in their role and wish to grow their career in tandem.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a CEDO Technician or NDT Trainee to join and contribute to our inspection team. This full-time position will report into the Division Manager and support Edmonton, AB operations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections.</li>\n <li>Calibrating the equipment, securing the area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure.</li>\n <li>Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities.</li>\n <li>Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and others.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Exposure Device Operator Certification (CEDO) or Exposure Device Operator (EDO)</li>\n <li>Familiarization of NDE methods (Conventional and Advanced)</li>\n <li>Current safety certifications (e.g., Confined Space, H2S Alive, First Aid) are an asset</li>\n <li>Capable of making knowledgeable, integrity-based decisions</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with client and maintenance personnel</li>\n <li>Ability to travel</li>\n <li>Valid Driver's Licence</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why work with BAKOS?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our employees hold the opportunity to be part of a growing organization with an environment which fosters career growth and encourages continued education and training.
