In this role you will play a critical part in maintaining our company&#39;s technological infrastructure and ensuring seamless daily operations. This position is located in South Portland, Maine and reports to the US Infrastructure Manager.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Utilize company ticketing system to log, track, prioritize, and resolve support issues within established SLAs. Accurately document troubleshooting steps and user communication.</li><li>Plan, deploy, administer, maintain and upgrade systems and services in line with the company&rsquo;s current and future business requirements.</li><li>Work with other members of the IT organization, the end user community and, potentially, external vendors to meet business requirements.</li><li>Currently the administration and maintenance environments encompasses</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;margin-left: 0.5in;\"><li>UNIX and UNIX cluster environment</li><li>Windows systems</li><li>VMware / Virtualization infrastructure&nbsp;</li><li>Backup solution</li><li>Storage subsystem</li><li>CAD environment</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Diagnose and resolve both hardware and software issues, including investigation of reported problems remotely or supporting other engineers who may be remote in investigations.</li><li>Work with other stakeholders to ensure impact of problems are understood and approach to resolution is effective.</li><li>Maintain data backups to reduce the risk of loss of company data and restore data and systems as required.</li><li>Ensure licensing compliance for the operating environment.</li><li>Maintain the IT business continuity plan to minimize risk to the on-going operation with an understanding of the company&rsquo;s RPO and RTO needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify continual improvements opportunities in line with business requirements.</li><li>Work will also be conducted within cleanroom environment which requires adherence to strict contamination control protocols essential for our semiconductor operations. This requires deep attention to detail to Diodes&rsquo; Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), gowning protocols, safety regulations, etc.</li><li>Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, information systems or related field is preferred</li><li>Industry certifications (Microsoft, VMWare, CompTIA, or others) are desired</li><li>Extensive awareness of Linux, UNIX, and related technologies</li><li>Experience with Windows platform is preferred</li><li>Understanding of infrastructure components (network, server, storage)</li><li>Understanding of business continuity concept &amp; solution</li><li>Excellent scripting, programming, and automation abilities</li><li>Knowledge of backup &amp; recovery concept</li><li>Strong understanding of server virtualization</li><li>3 years of experience as a System Administrator is preferred</li><li>Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational objectives</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), a Standard and Poor&rsquo;s SmallCap 600 and Russell 3000 Index company, is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality application specific standard products within the broad discrete, logic, and analog semiconductor markets.
