    "description": "<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>As a member of the Structured Finance team, a Structured Finance Senior Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the sourcing and closing of tax equity &amp; debt financing. The Structured Finance Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing critical aspects of the financing process with the mission of driving toward a smooth and timely closing. This position combines a high degree of external and interdepartmental coordination with project finance expertise. An effective candidate will demonstrate superior organization, attention to detail, strong initiative, an excellent ability to navigate/interpret project finance models, juggle multiple tasks and communicate clearly and effectively to various stakeholders. This position reports directly to the Manager of Structured Finance.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Tax Equity / Debt Diligence\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Key point of contact for projects across multiple discrete tax equity/debt funds.</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Coordinate with internal and external parties to manage the timely development and delivery of all documents, reports, and other closing deliverables, including but not limited to:\r\n\t\t<ul>\r\n\t\t\t<li>Excel-based financial model / appraisal report</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>Major project agreements (EPC, interconnection, site access, SREC, O&amp;M, etc.)</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>Land surveys / title insurance</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>Independent engineer and technical diligence reports</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>Legal/organizational documents</li>\r\n\t\t</ul>\r\n\t\t</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Diligently track construction and commissioning developments, support compliance with relevant federal/state/local requirements as financing progresses</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Create &amp; maintain project-level cash flow projections and cost summaries</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Attend regular calls with investors; provide timely updates and responses to ad hoc Q&amp;A, including quantitative and qualitative analysis in support of the general financing process</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Create and maintain virtual data rooms</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Facilitate smooth and efficient handoff of projects to SSI&rsquo;s operations team in the aftermath of closing</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Support outreach to prospective investors/lenders</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree with a concentration in economics, finance, energy, or related field</li>\r\n\t<li>Masters with a concentration in economics, finance, energy or related is preferred</li>\r\n\t<li>2+ years professional experience in renewables or finance-related field\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Direct tax equity/debt experience required</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Proficient in Excel; ability to manipulate and interpret large financial models, analyze large amounts of data, and a strong understanding of excel formulas\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>VBA experience is preferred</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Direct experience building/navigating project finance models is required</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong interest in solar/renewables; desire to build a career in the solar industry</li>\r\n\t<li>Basic understanding of tax equity and debt structures</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong work ethic and ability to self-start in a fast-paced environment</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to take initiative and problem-solve; flexibility to tackle emerging tasks as needed</li>\r\n\t<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>\r\n\t<li>Task-oriented; high attention to detail</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong><u>Work Environment</u></strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
