With expanding opportunities in the region and a variety of clients, the ideal candidate will join our high achieving, fast-paced team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, but experience in traditional industrial/commercial land development, solar, and/or mining is especially relevant.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is a hybrid office role and can be based in:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Tampa, FL</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Orlando (Mount Dora), FL</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Charlotte, NC</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Raleigh, NC</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Atlanta, GA</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to target and generate new opportunities</li>\n <li>Managing project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery quality</li>\n <li>Overseeing pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challenges</li>\n <li>Leading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value</li>\n <li>Nurturing and growing client relationships</li>\n <li>Supporting the achievement of professional staffs’ career goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education/Certification:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em>Required</em>, Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering</li>\n <li><em>Required,</em> Professional Engineer (PE)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction as a consultant</li>\n <li>Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships</li>\n <li>Capability to assess and resolve issues and conflicts</li>\n <li>Understanding of financial management of projects</li>\n <li>12+ years of related experience, including 6+ years of project management experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong> </p>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
