This role involves building low-latency, highly reliable systems that integrate with payment hardware, backend services, and AI models for intelligent decision-making.</p>\n<p><i><strong>HYBRID POSITION- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO SOMERSET, NJ OFFICE.</strong></i></p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><u>Core Development (C&amp;#43;&amp;#43;, C#, Python)</u></p>\n<p><i>Develop and maintain applications using:</i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>C; for system-level and device interaction</li>\n <li>C# (.NET) for application and API layers</li>\n <li>Python for AI integration, automation, and data processing</li>\n <li>Build scalable, high-performance POS software systems</li>\n <li>Optimize code for low-latency and real-time execution</li>\n <li>Debug and resolve complex production issues</li>\n <li>Serial Communication &amp; Device Integration</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>Implement and support serial communication (RS232, USB, COM) with:</i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Payment terminals</li>\n <li>Barcode scanners</li>\n <li>Receipt printers</li>\n <li>Cash drawers</li>\n <li>Develop device drivers/interfaces and handle protocol-level communication</li>\n <li>Ensure reliable message parsing, retries, and fault tolerance</li>\n <li>API Development (RESTful Services)</li>\n <li>Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs</li>\n <li>Enable seamless communication between POS devices and backend systems</li>\n <li>Implement authentication, encryption, and validation mechanisms</li>\n <li>Optimize APIs for real-time transaction processing</li>\n <li>AI &amp; Machine Learning Integration</li>\n <li>Develop and integrate AI/ML models into POS workflows using Python</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>Implement:</i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fraud detection and anomaly detection models</li>\n <li>Transaction pattern analysis</li>\n <li>Intelligent diagnostics and log analysis</li>\n <li>Use Generative AI for:</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Automated troubleshooting</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Code generation and optimization</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Smart documentation and knowledge systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>System Integration &amp; Compliance</i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure compliance with payment security standards (PCI-DSS awareness)**</li>\n <li>Optimize systems for throughput, latency, and reliability</li>\n <li>Implement robust logging, monitoring, and observability</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience</li>\n <li>5&amp;#43;
