Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract)

Role Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to support high-priority hiring across engineering and data teams over the next six months. This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role where you’ll partner closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and close top technical talent in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities: Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and data roles (sourcing → offer) Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategy Proactively source and engage high-quality technical candidates Manage and optimize candidate pipelines in Ashby Deliver an excellent candidate experience through clear, consistent communication Drive efficient interview processes and ensure timely feedback loops Advise stakeholders on market trends, compensation, and hiring best practices Qualifications: 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment Proven track record hiring for engineering and/or data roles Hands-on experience with Ashby (or similar ATS) Strong sourcing skills and ability to build diverse candidate pipelines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with ambiguity Nice to Have Experience in HealthTech or regulated industries Experience scaling teams in early-stage startups Compensation: The hourly range for this role is $65-$75/hour. We expect the ideal candidate to fall near the midpoint of this range, though final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and organizational needs.
