white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;\">&nbsp;</p><p><a target=\"_blank\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></a></p><ul><li>Oversee reinforcing, carpentry, insulation and stores department with support from inventory department.</li><li>Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents to guide and plan production activities.</li><li>Coordinate with the Engineering department on custom hardware requirements.</li><li>Coordinate workflow, labour assignments, and material flow to align with production schedules.</li><li>Supporting and working alongside Inventory Analysts to maintain a minimum level of inventory and prevent shortages or overstocking.</li><li>Maintain accurate shift documentation.</li><li>Maintain and enforce compliance with workplace safety policies and quality control procedures.</li><li>Lead and supervise employees, in a unionized environment, to meet daily targets in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Train, mentor, and develop production employees; facilitate cross-training and skill development.</li><li>Champion lean manufacturing principles and drive initiatives to streamline material flow</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, for optimal production performance.</li><li>Participate in production planning meetings and contribute to operational strategy.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\" style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">3+ years of industrial supervisory or materials management experience, preferable in a unionized environment.</span></li><li>Engineering Technology degree or diploma, or equivalent is preferred</li><li>Prior experience in precast concrete or similar manufacturing is an asset</li><li>Effective leadership and conflict resolution abilities</li></ul><p><strong>Business Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Drive, determination, and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet and maintain job standards</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations and lean manufacturing principles</li><li><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\" style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.</span></li></ul><p><strong>Cultural Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills</li></ul><p><i>This posting represents a current vacancy.
