          "text": "<p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>POSITION TITLE:</strong>&#xa0;Project Engineer Automation&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>REPORTS TO:</strong>&#xa0;Lead Project Engineer, Electrical</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&#xa0;</p><p>This position will be an electrics factory/engineered modernizations crane control automation engineer position responsible for hardware selection, program development, and implementation necessary for semi-automated to fully automated electric overhead and portal cranes for Region Americas.</p><ul><li>Knowledge of Product lines – Legacy, EOT and Portal Cranes</li><li>Engineering design, testing and commissioning of crane control&#xa0;systems.</li><li>Perform engineering tasks using established procedures.&#xa0; These include but are not limited to component selection, system layout, automation control programming, and system documentation.</li><li>Generate system architecture and automation network drawings.</li><li>Automation project planning, scheduling, design execution, and performance to budget from inquiry through start-up.</li><li>System testing and troubleshooting of control programs.</li><li>Troubleshooting and updating existing control programs.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong> Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or relevant engineering field) required</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong>&#xa0; Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an Automation Engineer working with motion and motor control products. This position requires excellent understanding of electricity, motor control electrical circuits, and analog- digital input/output.&#xa0; Experience designing and troubleshooting motor control circuits utilizing electromagnetic devices and variable frequency drives (VFD’s) is essential. Must have a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems and control equipment.&#xa0;&#xa0; Specifically, a knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programming software is required.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>OTHER</strong> <strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong>&#xa0; &#xa0;A qualified candidate must be proficient in reading electrical schematics and vendor application drawings. &#xa0;Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Verbal and written communication plays a key role in this position. This position requires the direct interface between frontline sales, customer, production planning (Watertown), and project management. &#xa0;Site visits for application and commissioning require the ability to work at heights up to 100 feet off the ground. &#xa0;Travel estimated at 20% to meet with customers, commission equipment, and witness product testing at our manufacturing plant.</p><p>&#xa0;</p>",
