  "key_responsibilities": "<div><!--block--><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></div><div><!--block-->1.&nbsp; &nbsp; Directs and supervises program activities to meet YMCA objectives. Establishes new program activities and expands programs within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations.</div><div><!--block-->2.&nbsp; &nbsp; Recruits, trains, and directs personnel and volunteers as needed.&nbsp; Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.</div><div><!--block-->3.&nbsp; &nbsp; Works with Youth and Families Director to ensure proper maintenance of gymnasium, and all related equipment.</div><div><!--block-->4.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensures the development of a sports program schedule seasonally with season sports calendar reflecting in age-appropriate activities &amp; leagues for children.</div><div><!--block-->5.&nbsp; &nbsp; Works to expand our Youth Development Initiative to serve pre-teens and teens and manage Teen Space for maximum usage.&nbsp; Works with Youth &amp; Enrichment Director to ensure this function is met.</div><div><!--block-->6.&nbsp; &nbsp; Markets and distributes program information to YMCA members and the community.</div><div><!--block-->7.&nbsp; &nbsp; Develops, coordinates and implements innovative programming for ages beginning at 2 to adult.</div><div><!--block-->8.&nbsp; &nbsp; To be seen as a leader for our Y by engaging with families, children and other Y employees.&nbsp; Direct service with delivering of classes is an essential function.&nbsp;</div><div><!--block-->9.&nbsp; &nbsp; Assists in YMCA fund raising activities and special events.</div><div><!--block-->10.
