These roles are ideal for engineers with an entrepreneurial spirit and that have the aspiration to utilize diverse approaches to various situations</p><p>Because our employees are usually involved in several projects at one time, involving numerous team members (such as project manager, junior engineers, and CADD technician/designer), exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well with others is essential.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Working with our clients and engineering teams, the municipal engineer could be responsible for any or possibly all of the following:</p><ul><li>Working with elected or appointed municipal officials and personnel to determine and meet the municipality’s needs</li><li>Attend public meetings of elected or appointed officials as municipal engineer representative</li><li>Conduct or supervise plan reviews for submitted Subdivisions and Land Developments</li><li>Work with staff personnel to confirm that subdivisions/land developments are constructed consistent with municipal approvals</li><li>Manage and/or design infrastructure projects, such as roadways, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, culvert replacements, water distribution, park and recreation facilities</li><li>Manage and review bid specifications and provide construction management for municipal infrastructure projects</li><li>Prepare cost estimates or review cost estimates prepared by staff</li><li>Prepare project proposals, contracts, and reports</li><li>Client and project management</li><li>Recruiting/hiring/mentoring junior engineers</li></ul>",
