  "Job_Description": "Our Client, a leading company within the Manufacturing and Production industry based is Palapye, Botswana is seeking an Assistant Production Manager who will oversee the entire production process, from procurement to quality control, ensuring efficiency and profitability. The role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in garment/textile manufacturing, capable of optimizing workflows, minimizing waste, and maintaining strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will be an innovative leader who can identify gaps in the production process and implement solutions. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the full production cycle, from raw material procurement to final product delivery. Improve production efficiency by streamlining workflows, optimising resource allocation, and reducing waste. Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring products meet specifications and client expectations. Supervise and support four production supervisors overseeing branding, materials control, inventory & dispatch, and store administration. Implement and enforce production schedules, ensuring deadlines are consistently met. Monitor and enhance workforce productivity, identifying training needs and skill gaps. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and labor regulations within the manufacturing environment. Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to the MD to enhance overall production operations. Foster a culture of commitment, trust, honesty, and continuous improvement within the team Requirements Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in textile/garment manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a production management role. Bachelor’s degree in Textile Manufacturing, Garment Production, or a relevant field. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce. Proven ability to improve production efficiency and implement cost-saving measures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach. Experience working in a high-paced environment with strict deadlines. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Willingness to relocate to Palapye, Botswana.
