Based in our Thornhill office, this opportunity allows you to lead complex designs, mentor the next generation of engineers, and contribute to projects that protect communities and the environment.</span></p><hr><p><span><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Lead structural engineering analysis and design for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, underground liquid‑retaining structures, solid waste transfer stations, and waste landfills.</span></li><li><span>Deliver complete structural designs for single buildings or multi‑facility infrastructure sites using industry‑standard software and engineering judgment.</span></li><li><span>Translate analytical results into clear markups and technical direction for BIM modellers and drafters.</span></li><li><span>Support project delivery through specifications development, cost estimates, and interdisciplinary coordination.</span></li><li><span>Provide support to project management, design management, and business development pursuits.</span></li><li><span>Perform site visits, condition assessments, and structural rehabilitation evaluations for new and existing facilities.</span></li><li><span>Provide construction support, including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and site instructions.</span></li><li><span>Mentor and guide early‑career engineers, supporting technical excellence and professional growth.</span></li></ul><hr><p><span><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with 10+ years of structural design experience in water, wastewater, or solid waste facilities.</span></li><li><span>P.Eng. designation with PEO (or eligibility with EGBC or APEGA).</span></li><li><span>Strong working knowledge of Canadian and international codes including OBC, NBCC, CSA A23/A23.3, CSA S16, CSA S900.2, and ACI 350.</span></li><li><span>Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, S‑Frame, and CSI products, with working knowledge of BIM360 and Revit.</span></li><li><span>Proven ability to lead structural design tasks, manage budgets and schedules, and meet client‑driven deadlines.</span></li><li><span>Experience collaborating across Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Architectural disciplines.</span></li><li><span>Confidence conducting field inspections and construction‑phase engineering support.</span></li><li><span>Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and/or PMP designation considered an asset.</span></li></ul><hr><p><span><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></span></p><p><span>Why Choose WSP?
