Description
This position serves as an employee resource for all HR needs and works collaboratively with our internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years prior experience in Human Resources, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures, including current labor laws and technical recruiting. We are seeking someone who connects with people, is organized and has a detail-oriented mindset. Looking for successful experience with recruitment of technical mid/senior/executive level candidates - including programmers, data scientists, data analysts.
Hybrid: 1st 6 months in office, then consideration of 1 WFH day, then another WFH day after another 6 months. Typical is 3 days in office.

Key Responsibilities
Source, screen and interview candidates to identify the best fit for various technical and non-technical roles.
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to resolve issues effectively.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Understanding, assisting and maintaining compliance of legal component of HR (labor laws compliance, sponsorship/immigration, FMLA, Paid Leave, Background checks, Title VII, audits prep, unemployment, terminations)
Contribute to HR Projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification is a plus).
Proven experience as a recruiter and HR generalist in a tech or similar industry.
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with HRIS software and applicant tracking systems.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
