This role is responsible for ensuring all inbound shipments are accurately received, inspected, and processed while maintaining a safe and organized receiving environment.</p><p>This role will report to the Warehouse Manager, working <strong>Monday through Friday (8 hour shifts) 6:30 am - 3:00 pm</strong> (hours may vary depending on receiving needs)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to unload incoming shipments from trucks and containers</li><li>Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for accuracy</li><li>Inspect incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, or defects and report issues to the appropriate team</li><li>Enter received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Transport received goods to designated storage locations using forklift and other powered industrial equipment</li><li>Stack, organize, and store palletized inventory safely and efficiently</li><li>Communicate with purchasing and procurement teams regarding shortages, overages, or damaged goods</li><li>Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any equipment issues</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and warehouse area</li><li>Assist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits</li><li>Coordinate with shipping carriers for delivery scheduling and documentation</li><li>Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies</li></ul><p><strong>Required skills and qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid forklift certification (sit-down counterbalance, reach truck, or stand-up) required</li><li>1–2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution environment</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills</li><li>Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents</li><li>Ability to work <strong>6:30 am - 3:00 pm (hours may vary depending on receiving needs)</strong></li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory record-keeping</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand/operate equipment for extended periods</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA forklift safety standards and best practices</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>High school diploma or GED required</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Haves:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in air filter, HVAC, or related manufacturing/distribution industries</li><li>Familiarity with lean, 5S, and continuous improvement principles</li><li>Experience interpreting and applying receiving regulations and carrier requirements</li></ul><p><strong>This job description is not all-encompassing; however, it is intended to be a general description of the responsibilities of this position.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Company Overview</strong>We are a leading ecommerce company with a mission to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
