The Role
The Senior Manager, Sourcing Engagement is a hotel-facing leader responsible for accelerating adoption of Wyndham Sourcing programs and translating those programs into measurable improvements in quality and guest experience consistency. Reporting directly to the VP, Sourcing Operations & Engagement, this role will educate and enable hotel owner/operators and hotel teams on how to leverage approved sourcing solutions, brand standards, and purchasing behaviors to reduce operational issues, improve readiness and compliance, and elevate the on-property guest experience.
This position serves as a connector between key hotel facing teams including, but not limited to, Quality, Field Operations, and Sourcing, creating and leading structured engagement strategies that directly link quality outcomes to purchasing decisions.
The Senior Manager will also represent the Sourcing team at industry events, franchisee meetings, and regional trainings, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for hotels.
What you'll do
Hotel Education, Enablement & Adoption
Serve as a primary field-facing resource to drive awareness, education, and adoption, and sustained behavior change of Wyndham Sourcing programs.
Conduct on-property and virtual engagements (trainings, workshops, roadshows) that give hotels clear, actionable steps to maximize value through Sourcing programs while helping to improve overall quality.
Translate sourcing programs into value-based solutions tailored to hotel priorities (guest experience, operational reliability and readiness, cost management).
Connect Quality Outcomes to Sourcing Actions
Create and lead initiatives that help hotels translate quality insights (e.g., inspection results, guest feedback, brand standards) into practical purchasing actions.
Partner with Quality and Operations, and other internal teams to incorporate feedback/insights into sourcing playbooks, providing recommended purchasing solutions by category (e.g., sleep experience, amenities, maintenance, cleanliness, breakfast).
Through the utilization of sourcing tools and programs, support hotels to help drive consistent, smarter purchasing behaviors that reduce variability and strengthen the guest experience.
Program Strategy & Field Engagement Planning
Design and execute engagement strategies aligned with sourcing priorities that increase participation in sourcing programs and strengthen franchisee confidence.
Identify barriers to adoption (process, training, supplier responsiveness, perceived complexity) and implement targeted interventions to address them.
Develop scalable engagement assets (toolkits, FAQs, quick-start guides, training decks, field talking points) that help franchisee-facing teams consistently bring sourcing playbooks to life.
Performance Tracking, Insights & Continuous Improvement
Build and maintain tracking mechanisms to measure engagement outcomes, such as adoption and utilization of sourcing programs, participation in trainings/field events, and recurring issue reduction. In addition, this role will be responsible for establishing clear links between engagement outcomes, guest satisfaction, and hotel impact.
Provide regular reporting to the VP, Sourcing Ops & Engagement and other Sourcing leadership with insights, risks, wins, and recommended adjustments based on feedback and results.
Capture hotel feedback to improve program design, supplier performance expectations, and user experience.
You'll be successful if you have
Proven ability to influence behavior change in a field-facing environment, including educating and guiding stakeholders (e.g., hotel owners/operators) to adopt new programs, and purchasing practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data, feedback, and quality insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive measurable improvements in performance.
Highly effective communication and presentation skills, with experience leading trainings, workshops, or stakeholder engagements, and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences across functions.
Required Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Hospitality, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
5–8+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, hospitality operations, or a related field, with demonstrated experience working directly with hotel properties, owners/operators, or field teams.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving adoption of programs or tools, including working across teams such as Operations, Quality, or vendor/supplier partners.
Master’s degree (MBA or related field) is a plus.
