Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hours: </strong>The part-time, day shift position is 24 hours/week, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The Patient Care Assistant assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.  </li>\n <li>The PCA provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned.  </li>\n <li>Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families.  </li>\n <li>Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Assists with the planning and provision of structured, age appropriate activities for patients under the guidance or direction of a Child Life Therapist. </li>\n <li>Monitors children’s activities and maintains a safe physical and psychosocial environment for children.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Note: This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.   </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma / GED</li>\n <li>Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Ohio STNA license</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One year of pediatric experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
