You will have the opportunity to work with an experience and highly motivated team. The role will be processed based and will have a focus testing and calibrating company owned instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Location:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Newburyport MA</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>100% Onsite</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform calibration and verification of precision measuring instruments and gages used in aerospace manufacturing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and maintain calibration procedures and standards in accordance with AS9100, ISO 17025, and OEM specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Plan and execute calibration sequences using engineering drawings, technical manuals, and manufacturer documentation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Set up and operate laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, calibrate, and troubleshoot various mechanical, dimensional, and electronic measuring tools.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist quality and engineering teams in diagnosing measurement-related issues and support continuous improvement of calibration processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate external calibration and repair services, and manage the scheduling and tracking of gages requiring offsite or onsite service.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accurately document calibration results, maintain traceability records, and generate detailed reports for internal audits and management review.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards and Occupational Health &amp; Safety (OHS) regulations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support internal and external audits by ensuring calibration records and equipment are audit-ready at all times.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a calibration technician, in quality assurance, or a related field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and a strong understanding of hand gages commonly used in aerospace manufacturing (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic math and computer skills (Windows).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 17025 standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience using Gagetrak and troubleshooting/repairing gages.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to accurately interpret blueprints and sketches.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication and organizational skills.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Working Conditions:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.</li><li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.</li><li>Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Acknowledgements:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
