    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>About the role</u></strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm\">Calgary Co-op's Home Health Care division is looking for a dynamic and community-minded Operations Manager to lead our <span>Sales &amp; Merchandising&nbsp;</span>operations. You will drive day-to-day performance across our HHC locations — delivering on financial results, operational efficiency, and the exceptional service our members rely on.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm\"><strong><u>What You'll Do</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead day-to-day operations of HHC locations, upholding Calgary Co-op's brand standards, merchandising practices, and policies.</li>\n <li>Own centre-level budgets across sales, margins, expenses, profits, and EHP — providing leadership toward financial targets.</li>\n <li>Build and sustain a collaborative, supportive team culture through professional, people-first leadership.</li>\n <li>Ensure full compliance with government regulations and professional standards applicable to the home health care industry.</li>\n <li>Manage facilities, fixed assets, merchandise, and inventory — including purchase orders, price integrity, invoices, and cash handling.</li>\n <li>Champion high customer service standards through active monitoring and timely resolution of customer feedback.</li>\n <li>Lead all aspects of employee relations: hiring, training, performance management, development, and discipline.</li>\n <li>Drive Occupational Health &amp; Safety (OH&amp;S) participation and ensure employees are informed and compliant with all relevant legislation.</li>\n <li>Act as a community liaison and public relations representative for Calgary Co-op within the facilities and communities we serve.</li>\n <li>Provide ongoing recommendations for continuous operational improvement and implement action plans as needed.</li>\n <li>Undertake and perform additional assignments as directed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Grade 12.</li>\n <li>Three years’ management experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five or more years’ management experience.</li>\n <li>Business‑related education.</li>\n <li>Medical‑related education or background.</li>\n <li>Post‑secondary education.</li>\n <li>Affiliation with relevant industry associations and committees</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>About Calgary Co-op&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>www.calgarycoop.com&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Owned by members, Calgary Co-op is one of the largest retail co-operatives in North America, proudly serving Calgary and surrounding communities.
