    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>Reports To:  Production Trainer<br></p>\n<p>Summary:<br><br>Team members, new to the landscape industry, enter the Gachina Certification Program to learn production, safe equipment operation and The Gachina Way.  During the Certification Program, your Supervisor will be your trainer and mentor.  They offer a wealth of industry experience and will be guiding you through this program.  Upon successful completion of training and certification, team members will become a Landscape Maintenance or Construction Technician and will be assigned to a Crew Leader. <br><br>Experienced landscape professionals will demonstrate safe power equipment and hand tool operations, landscape practices that promote plant health, irrigation repairs &amp; controller programming, shrub pruning, and planting, power mowing, trimming, blowing, raking, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, sod laying, sprinkler installation, irrigation repairs such as main lines, lateral repairs, sprinkle repairs, clock programming, and running manual irrigation valves.<br><br>Training Program Responsibilities:<br><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Safe hand tool operations such as; picks and shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hand pruners or bush trimmers, and axes. <br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Safe power equipment operations such as; mowers, blowers, weedeaters, edgers, hedgetrimmers, chain-saws, sod cutters, or pruning saws, tractors, twin-axle vehicles. <br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Water lawns, trees, or plants, using sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. <br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. <br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Trim trees or other vegetation. (Trees under 15 feet) <br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;For Drivers / drive company truck with attached trailer to work sites. <br><br>Position Requirements:<br><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Full range of mobility in upper and lower body<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to reach overhead<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to lift 60 pounds of weight frequently throughout the work day<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reliable transportation to job site/office<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Report to work at the designated time and location<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Wear Common Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, (steel-toe boots), glasses, gloves, (leather, cloth, and plastic gloves), hearing protection, and hard hats. <br><br>Work Conditions: <br><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Outdoors, exposed to weather, sounds, and noise levels.<br><br><br><br></p>\n</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
