    "description": "<p>We are looking for passionate, professional, and proficient fly fishing guides to join the Bay Flats Lodge team. <br>Applicants must have guiding experience in the relative area (Texas Gulf Coast region) and have a good grasp of sight-fishing and poling shallow flats for redfish and speckled trout.<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"></span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Equipment Requirements:</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span></span>Shallow water skiff in good - excellent condition</li>\r\n<li><span></span>A few fly rods, reels and fly lines in good working order for guests</li>\r\n<li><span></span>Extra leaders, tippet and flies for guests</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Character Requirements: </span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span></span>Consistent, courteous communication skills</li>\r\n<li><span></span>Strong work ethic</li>\r\n<li><span></span>Able to maintain a positive attitude</li>\r\n<li><span></span>Strong desire to facilitate the best day possible, no matter the conditions</li>\r\n<li><span></span>Dependable and punctual</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Federal and State Credentials:</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span></span>American Red Cross First-Aid and CPR Card</li>\r\n<li><span></span>Boat Insurance</li>\r\n<li><span></span>Membership/Participant in Random Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Management System or Consortium Program</li>\r\n<li><span></span>USCG Medical Certificate</li>\r\n<li><span></span>USCG OUPV (6-Pack) License</li>\r\n<li><span></span>TPWD Guide License</li>\r\n<li><span></span>TPWD Saltwater Fishing License</li>\r\n<li><span></span>TWIC Card - Does NOT need to be current, but must have one</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Training Opportunities: </span>We take pride in developing our staff.
