Leverages historical data and predictive modeling to support the development and execution of PSA’s Maintenance Planning Playbook, helping define and optimize the Heavy, Intermediate, and Line Maintenance Footprint. Partners closely with Maintenance Planning, Tech Ops, Supply Chain, Finance and Network planning to inform capacity, resource and maintenance strategy decision across short- and long-term planning horizons. Job Responsibilities Performs strategy formulation, development, implementation, and evaluation of aircraft maintenance plans to optimize efficiency and minimize cost. Leads weekly and other periodic reviews of Airframe activity including detailed analysis of past and future data to assess fleet, program, labor, and facility trends and efforts to improve event opportunity and asset management. Capacity and Demand modeling to include Annual, 5-Year, and 10-Year Maintenance Plan. Develop Long-Range Material Forecasting model to smooth out demand over a rolling 24-month period. Optimize aircraft maintenance visit scenario modeling to minimize aircraft downtime, reduce costs, and maximize fleet utilization. Provides detailed analysis of check visit performance to plan. Communicates and reviews performance with Tech Ops Support Teams to support continuous improvement. Communicates and coordinates maintenance allocation requirements vital to support maintenance check activity with senior Tech Ops, Network Planning, and Finance Leadership. Communicates and coordinates Heavy & Intermediate Check plans and requirements with Supply Chain Leaders and internal and external facilities to ensure advance planning and preparation to support requirements. Meets regularly with Planning and Production leadership and associated support departments to ensure alignment of activities with Check plans and requirements. Develop implementation plans for system-wide maintenance capabilities embracing the Maintenance Footprint, Manpower, and facilities around long and short-term aircraft maintenance requirements. Preparation of fleet plans, HMV, Line Maintenance, and Hangar scheduled plans in a timely and consistent manner to allow efficient execution of plans by production. Cross-functional integration with all Tech Ops Leaders to achieve desired goals. Develop and maintain Monthly and Annual Maintenance Planning performance reports. Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Specifics Qualifications Required Associate's degree or equivalent amount of work experience. 2 years Aviation Maintenance Planning experience to include LINE Maintenance Planning, and Maintenance Operations Planning. Working knowledge of aircraft inspections and maintenance programs. Experience with Programs Planning, and Inventory Planning Methodology. Advanced forecasting and modeling skills. Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel. Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel: Vlookup, Pivot Table, Complex Formulas, Advanced formatting. Ability to speak/read/write in English. If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Bachelor’s degree. Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel. Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel: Vlookup, Pivot Table, Complex Formulas, Advanced formatting, comparing large amounts of data and referencing several data sets.
