    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>UE Manufacturing is Now Hiring a Manufacturing Engineer located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Creating manufacturing processes, entering, and analyzing Oracle data such as routers and structured BOMs, review costing and time data for processes, conduct lean manufacturing projects as well as other duties as assigned. Six Sigma Greenbelt certification is preferred. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for providing innovative and cost-effective processes and solutions required to manufacture products.</li>\n <li>Evaluates current manufacturing processes by conducting time studies and costing reviews.</li>\n <li>Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors. Creates visual work instructions, standard operating procedures, and workflow diagrams to standardize shop processes.</li>\n <li>Create and maintain routers in Oracle for manufactured products.</li>\n <li>Review and sign-off on Engineering Change Orders that impact Inventory - including product life cycle issues, obsolescence, etc.</li>\n <li>Assist with investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for manufacturing quality issues.</li>\n <li>Responsible for finding innovative and cost-effective technology solutions required to manufacture existing and new products.</li>\n <li>Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.</li>\n <li>Lead role in the implementation of manufacturing processes and techniques and the implementation of LEAN and use of Six Sigma tools.</li>\n <li>Responsible to ensure that new processes are established using LEAN concepts, such as: standardized work instructions, line balancing, layout and work sequence (routing) optimization, training development matrix, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen/5S workouts, pull processes, TPM (total preventive maintenance), cell design, and quick changeover/batch-size optimization.</li>\n <li>Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods. Works with quality department to create inspection standards and methods.</li>\n <li>Review and sign-off on Engineering Change Orders that impact Inventory - including product life cycle issues, obsolescence, etc.</li>\n <li>Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs. </li>\n <li>Produce KPIs and metrics on the manufacturing process that can be viewed and reviewed by shop employees and management.</li>\n <li>Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.</li>\n <li>Answers questions and requests from both the floor and management.</li>\n <li>Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government or industry regulations.</li>\n <li>Helps ensure manufacturing process and quality by keeping manufacturing equipment operational. </li>\n <li>Maintains process database.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance to all group systems, guidelines, and policies. </li>\n <li>Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety.</li>\n <li>All other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
