    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Job Title: Controls Engineer&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Reports to:&nbsp;</strong>Maintenance Manager</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>FLSA Status: EXEMPT</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Monday &ndash; Friday&nbsp;(extended hours and weekends as needed)</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Program and maintain robotic automation systems to support production operations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot robotic equipment using controller interfaces, including teach pendants, when systems are out of sync.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Diagnose, test, and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that operate automated equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Install, maintain, and repair electrical components of machinery and equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform visual inspections and functional testing of machinery, accurately document maintenance activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor equipment for unusual sounds or performance issues and collaborate with supervisors and maintenance team members to diagnose and resolve malfunctions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain appropriate levels of maintenance supplies and perishable inventory.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Install, maintain, and replace sensors and related components.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Train production employees on proper equipment operation and safe usage practices.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all safety procedures and ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain 5S standards within the robotic cell department.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>General Work Requirements:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in RSLogix 5000 (Rockwell Automation) for PLC programming, logic development, and troubleshooting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with FANUC robot programming and FactoryTalk for HMI modification and integration.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hands-on experience in control panel building, machine wiring, and support of new equipment builds and repurposing projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated ability to perform robotic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ladder logic programming.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong knowledge of motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and related systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read, interpret, and work from PLC logic, electrical diagrams, technical schematics, and blueprints.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Advanced troubleshooting skills with a strong focus on root cause analysis and problem resolution.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working knowledge of welding and metal forming techniques and processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with both destructive and non-destructive testing methods.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in industrial automation, robotics, or maintenance.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical environment/work conditions:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to move throughout the facility, including production floors, warehouses, and office areas</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during audits, inspections, and investigations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on computers, analyzing data, and completing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds (e.g., parts, gauges, or inspection equipment)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Exposure to manufacturing environments including varying temperatures, noise, moving machinery, and potential airborne particles</li></ul></div>\n",
