As we grow, we value people ready to grow a career that makes an impact far beyond just our daily workplace.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Please note: this is a field position scheduled for preventative maintenance on machines at customer worksites- must have a valid driver&#39;s license, Medical DOT card and ability to operate a company field truck.</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>As a <strong>Preventative Maintenance Technician</strong>, your more typical responsibilities will include:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Inspect, maintain, and service heavy equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Order parts and keep Lube truck stocked with oils and filters.</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepare accurate inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete oil and filter services within James River&nbsp;Equipment&rsquo;s SPG&rsquo;s and service estimates.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep work areas clean and orderly.</li>\r\n\t<li>Work in a safe manner and comply with customers&rsquo; site specific policies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Comply with company policies and government regulations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>As a&nbsp;<strong>PM&nbsp;</strong><strong>Technician</strong>, you will be&nbsp;working out at customer locations (with occasional work required outside in&nbsp;varying weather conditions) to repair, conduct maintenance, and address any customer concerns or questions regarding equipment.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong> Include:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High School diploma or equivalent experience. Must have experience as a lube technician working with comparable equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and ability to be insured on company policy.&nbsp; Must have a valid Medical DOT card.</strong></li>\r\n\t<li>Strong communication skills and basic computer skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Basic math skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must have basic tools to perform service and minor repairs.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Physical Demands</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Physical Effort: Lube technicians are constantly on the move and in a fast-paced environment. They frequently are sitting and driving around the area for long periods of time and regularly have to bend, kneel, crawl, lay, and maneuver on/under machines to properly perform maintenance on machines. They must be capable of moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to walk over construction/agricultural sites with loose-footing and irregular terrain.</li>\r\n\t<li>Working Conditions: Lube Technicians deal with many different products that are hazardous. There are hazards from electrical, mechanical and power equipment; risk of exposure to chemicals such as steam cleaner soap, used oil, spent antifreeze, parts cleaning solvent, volatile hydrocarbons, battery acid, etc. Lube Technicians frequently have to work in adverse weather conditions as well. They also face risk of exposure to dust, dirt, mists, fumes, and non-continuous noises of varying sound levels and intensities.
