PGW is dedicated to becoming the Greenest Natural Gas Delivery Company in the region.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Become part of the PGW Team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Fleet Auto Mechanic </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Starting pay rate is $25.915 p/hr. ($1036.60 wkly)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Fleet maintenance which includes, but is not limited to:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Remove and install engines, rears, transmissions, and clutches; repair and adjust brakes</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Repair or replace wiring, distributors and generators; repair and align front end assemblies; replace radiators and springs; and tune up engines</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Mounts and dismounts tires, tire chains; repair and diagnose ignition system</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Use of various hand and power tools, including precision gauges, electrical instruments and computers for use of updating equipment and receiving email, etc.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Assist Equipment Mechanic and/or Working Foreman</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Diagnose road breakdowns and make necessary repairs</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Perform road service as required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Perform state safety and emission inspections</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Perform preventive maintenance inspections</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Answering calls when necessary</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Other related duties and functions as assigned</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>High School Diploma or equivalent required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Current, valid driver's license with \"clean\" record required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PA State Emission <strong>and</strong> Inspection licenses are required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must be able to acquire a Class A Commercial’s Driver’s License within six (6) months of hire</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Commercial drivers must meet medical standards established by Federal and State Regulations</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Automotive AAS degree or have graduated from voc/tech automotive program a plus</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Experience with medium to heavy duty trucks, van engines, diesels preferred</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must pass company entry-level test</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>The Auto Mechanic is a full-time, union position working in all weather conditions with rotational shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays.</em></strong></p>\n<p>We offer a strong benefit package that includes free basic health and dental insurance.
