The Aiken, SC plant\nproduces approximately 1,000,000 miles of glass fiber reinforcement per day and\noperates on a 24/7/365 schedule. We are an agile, flexible, small-batch\nmanufacturer able to meet the diverse technical requirements of our global\nclient base. Our engineers and scientists have reinvented ultrafine glass fiber\nreinforcement manufacturing with proprietary, eco-friendly processes. Most\nnotably, many of our production processes qualify as zero carbon footprint\nactivities and the Aiken site has reduced its carbon footprint by 88% since\n2002.</p><!--EndFragment-->&nbsp; <!--StartFragment--><p style=\"margin:0in;margin-left:.375in;font-family:Circular;font-size:12.0pt;\ncolor:#262321;\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">The Job</span></p><!--EndFragment--> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Performs mechanical maintenance skills on any plant equipment, facility, and/or process,&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;in addition to performing incidental work including Basic Electrical&nbsp;Skills.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Completes projects with little or no supervision. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Skilled in the use of all shop tools and equipment. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Installs, maintains, repairs, trouble-shoots plant equipment, related processes, and facility infrastructure. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible for the accomplishments of work performed by the lower-level jobs of the classification under the direction and authority&nbsp; &nbsp; of the supervisor.</div>&nbsp;<p><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Must have five (5) years of verifiable industrial mechanical experience as a 1st class mechanic or two-year electrical technical degree and related experience.</strong></li><li><strong>&nbsp;Must successfully complete all AGY&#39;s assessment criteria, (including, but not limited to, mechanical equipment series assessment, high school diploma or equivalent. etc.)&nbsp;</strong></li><li><strong>&nbsp;HS Diploma/GED; Technical Certificate preferred</strong></li><li><strong>Must pass WorkKeys skill level requirement: Workplace Obs.= 2 or higher, or observation = 3 or higher, Graphic Literacy= 4 or higher, and Applied Tech = 4 or higher</strong></li><li><strong>Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen&nbsp;</strong></li><li><strong><strong>Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, squat, twist, turn, climb, work overhead, wear required PPE, and work in a hot, confined environment&nbsp;</strong></strong></li><li><strong>Must be able work various shifts including nights, weekends and overtime</strong></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
