In addition, this position will oversee the day-to-day activities and will assist with staffing and help Clinic Manager with performance needs. </p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p><strong>Principal Functions and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Performs all duties, tasks and responsibilities required by a Medical Assistant See attached job description.</li>\n\t<li>Assists with employee timecards: make timecard correction, approve timecards as needed by manager. </li>\n\t<li>Assists in monitoring patients flow, minimizing wait times, and ensuring patient access per policy.</li>\n\t<li>Provides back-up staffing relief for Medical Assistant team if necessary. </li>\n\t<li>Helps track PCMH goal achievements and lead improvements.</li>\n\t<li>Under the direction of the clinic manager, provides direct on-site supervision of clinic nursing staff, including overseeing the day-to-day operations.</li>\n\t<li>Interviews, trains, monitors, evaluates, and consistently coaches/ motivates clinical team for optimum customer service and patient satisfaction.</li>\n\t<li>Oversees telephone triage and phone questions.</li>\n\t<li>Leads patient engagement for medical assistant team.</li>\n\t<li>Makes recommendations, with Clinic Manager’s support to initiate corrective action plan.</li>\n\t<li>Communicates effectively with practitioners both verbally and in writing.</li>\n\t<li>Workflow improvements.
