    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><strong><u>SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA)<span> and&nbsp;</span>Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development for United States Coast Guard (USCG) Electronic (ELEX) systems and equipment utilized throughout the service.</p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\">Includes the following:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) in accordance with MIL-STD-3034 (series) (Navy).</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Develop Maintenance Requirement List (MRL), List of Effective Pages (LOEP) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs). Format will be as directed by USCG.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Develop ELEX MPCs that will be ready for publication. MPC content will be developed using the Coast Guard’s Maintenance Development process covered in CGTO PG-85-00-230-G, Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Process Guide (Current Version/Edition) and current standards and practices.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Support the CG-22 process through RCMA, MPC development, and MPC updates.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Attend meetings and conferences.</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><strong><u>SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><span>No supervisory/ management authority.</span></p><p style=\"line-height: 150%; margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><strong><u>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</u></strong></p><ul style=\"padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\"><a name=\"_Hlk54101075\"><span>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)</span></a>.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Six (6)<span> years of experience in USCG or DOD electronics maintenance and development.</span></p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 150%; margin-right: 41.4pt;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.75pt; break-after: avoid;\"><strong><u>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\"><span>Hold a current RCM Level-II Maintenance Analysis Certification by the USCG or NAVSEA or obtain Certification within six (6) months of hire date.</span></p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Excellent communication skills; oral and written.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">Pass a drug screen and federal background check is mandatory.</p></li><li>Ability to pass a NACI/Tier1 background investigation and obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) to access USCG IT systems and facilities.</li><li><p><span>Ability to obtain a SECRET level clearance upon direction of the USCG.</span></p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; margin-right: 41.4pt; margin-top: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><strong><u>WORK ENVIRONMENT</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-right: 41.4pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><p>Work is primarily performed at the employee’s residence or other designated work locations.
