Join us this summer at Camp Colonie for an exciting opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist.</strong></p><p><strong>Applicants must be available&nbsp;June 29- August 14 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p>As a Speech Language Pathologist you will evaluate communication skills to include: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills and hearing. You will develop a comprehensive service plan according to program policies and regulations, including school, outpatient, etc.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Aptos&quot;,sans-serif;\"><strong>Your Responsibilities Will Include:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Provide therapy as outlined by treatment plan of communication disorders of Individual Treatment Plan/Individual Education Plan.</li><li>Maintain professional standards in and out of the Center in compliance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics.</li><li>Instruct and counsel students/clients and/or their families regarding the specific nature of their communications impairments and how to best deal with this in various speaking situations.</li><li>Attend IEP meetings, staffing, case conferences and department meetings.</li><li>Maintain appropriate records: progress notes and reports, evaluations, plans, case conference reports and discharge summaries.</li><li>Get and track insurance authorizations when applicable.</li><li>Complete departmental program evaluation in accordance with agency policy and procedures</li><li>Function as a case manager and assist in coordinating and obtaining other needed services.</li><li>Supervise clinical fellowship year for staff speech language pathologist where appropriate.</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><p><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Aptos&quot;,sans-serif;\"><strong>You're a great fit for this role if you have:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Masters Degree or its equivalent in the field of Speech Pathology</li><li>Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech/Hearing Association</li><li>OR be in clinical fellowship year&nbsp;</li><li>Current state Speech/Language Pathologist license</li><li><p>Three years experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist is preferred</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><strong>Compensation: $42.00-46.00/hr.</strong></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\"><strong>Position Type:</strong>&nbsp;Full Time - Temporary</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p><p>Camp Colonie is a unique, outdoor summer school and recreational program for for children and young adults 5-21 years of age.
