          "text": "<p>The Meal Delivery Driver is responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of prepared meals to feeding and/or distribution sites throughout the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan (FBEM) service area. This role requires excellent customer service skills, adherence to food safety protocols, and a strong commitment to supporting FBEM’s mission of serving the community.</p><p><strong>Typical Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely and efficiently load, transport, and deliver prepared meals to designated feeding and/or distribution sites.</li><li>Load and unload vehicles using safe lifting practices and in accordance with proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely completion of delivery documentation, in compliance with FBEM policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with partners, clients, and the public.</li><li>Foster and maintain positive working relationships with all FBEM stakeholders to support continued collaboration and engagement.</li><li>Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of vehicle use and maintenance in accordance with departmental and DOT regulations.</li><li>Keep assigned vehicles clean and report any maintenance concerns to the Transportation Manager promptly.</li><li>Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the work environment in compliance with internal policies and external food safety regulations.</li><li>Adhere to all FBEM safety protocols and procedures.</li><li>Maintain all required licenses and certifications in compliance with FBEM and State of Michigan regulations.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>Primarily on-the-road with frequent stops throughout the service area</li><li>Exposure to all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow</li></ul>",
