High School Diploma.&nbsp;</p><p>2. One to two years of ophthalmic/optometric experience preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>3. One to two years of sales experience preferred.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ol><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Computer literacy.&nbsp;</li><li>Team orientation.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong organization with attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Highly professional image.&nbsp;</li><li>Management of multiple projects simultaneously.&nbsp;</li></ol><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ol><li>Communicate with surgical facilities, patient insurance companies, doctors and patients for scheduling and performance of surgery.</li><li>Develops and maintains an internal patient database; identifies target patients for mailings and telephone calls.</li><li>Implements the marketing objectives and motivates support staff to participate.</li><li>Acts as key contact person for surgical vendors and surgery inquiries, including those from patients, physicians, and staff members.</li><li>Implements process for co-management of patients, including pre and post op instruction.</li><li>Front desk support and backup.</li><li>Proficient use of our software programs.</li><li>Perform other related duties as required.</li></ol>\n    </div>\n  \n",
