    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>API 510/570 for offshore work- Houma, LA.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Intertek's Asset Integrity Management team provides asset life management support to infrastructure, facilities, and equipment through the conception, design, construction, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning phases. Intertek provides specialists and engineering support in all areas of Asset Integrity Management, including design, process safety, mechanical integrity, inspection and maintenance, operational and process support, corrosion, metallurgy, and risk analysis to provide you with Total Quality Assurance.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>The API 510/570 Inspector will perform visual inspections and various non-destructive examinations under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently at numerous client facilities in the Gulf of America as well as land-based projects.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp; </strong>Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare Inspection&nbsp;reports and document data in a clear and timely manner</li><li>Interface with the client on technical matters involving Inspection&nbsp;procedures and capabilities</li><li>Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers</li><li>Stay abreast of any new developments in API-certified Inspection&nbsp;that may be applicable in our business</li><li>Follow technology advancements in the NDE/Inspection industries</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What is takes to be successful in this role:</strong></p><ul><li>Current API 510/570 certification with 5+ years' experience minimum; additional API certifications a plus</li><li>Rope Access (IRATA or SPRAT) experience and prior certification preferred</li><li>NDE and Drafting background preferred</li><li>Offshore experience and related certifications preferred</li><li>CUI experience preferred</li><li>Valid TWIC card (required)</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)</li><li>Excellent computer and organizational skills a must</li><li>Self-motivated driven individual a must</li><li>Must be able to apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test results</li><li>Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors</li><li>Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors (preferred)</li><li>Ability to solve technical issues in the field.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Intertek: Total Quality.
