Key tasks include integration of components, ensuring proper fitment, FEA analysis and compliance with industry standards and regulations will be required.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>Other duties beyond this representative listing may be assigned to the essential job duties and responsibilities of this position based on Company needs. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Design and implement new systems and updates to existing systems</li><li>Create and verify 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and FEA tools&nbsp;</li><li>Lead design reviews with cross functional partners and drive design for manufacturing/assembly and make vs buy decisions.</li><li>Liaise with procurement, production, suppliers, and customers with guidance from Senior Engineer or Chief Engineer. &nbsp;</li><li>Update existing systems to reduce component costs, reduce manufacturing costs and time, reduce warranty costs, or meet new customer requirements.</li><li>Support prototype builds for verification of manufacturing, assembly and test processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).</li><li>Create ECR&rsquo;s (Engineering change requests) and communicate with appropriate departments</li><li>Maintain safe work environment.</li><li>Maintain professional appearance.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>As a condition of continued employment, the employee is required to exhibit positive corporate citizenship, with demonstrated ability to positively interact with others, follow required Company policies and procedures which include but are not limited to policies regarding conduct, record keeping, and safety. &nbsp;As a condition of continued employment, the employee is required to refrain from any behavior that is construed as sexual harassment, harassment and/or creating or participating in a hostile work environment, and/or violence in the workplace.</p><p><strong>MARGINAL DUTIES:</strong>&nbsp; must pass test within 90 days of hire. &nbsp;</li><li>Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company&rsquo;s insurance carrier.</li></ul><p><strong>Language Skills: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Mathematical Skills: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>An understanding of mathematical operations including advanced statistics. &nbsp;Good understanding of engineering principles is required.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Reasoning Ability: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. &nbsp;
