Description Key Responsibilities Guest Service Welcome and greet guests warmly as per IHG service standards. Ensure guests are attended to promptly and courteously. Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve within standard timelines. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with guests. Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints efficiently and politely. Restaurant Operations Set up restaurant, buffet, and service stations before operations. Ensure tables, chairs, and service areas are clean and properly arranged. Refill buffet items and maintain food presentation standards. Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout service hours. Follow all opening and closing checklists. Hygiene & Safety Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards as per hotel policies. Follow food safety procedures and HACCP guidelines. Ensure proper handling of equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. Adhere to fire, life, and safety procedures at all times. Coordination & Teamwork Coordinate effectively with kitchen, stewarding, and front office teams. Support colleagues during peak operational hours. Participate in departmental briefings and training sessions. Cash & Billing Prepare bills accurately and process guest payments as required. Follow hotel cash handling and billing procedures. Skills & Competencies Good communication skills Customer-focused attitude Team player with positive behavior Basic food & beverage service knowledge Ability to multitask and work under pressure Good grooming and interpersonal skills Qualification & Experience Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred 0–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage service preferred Freshers with good communication skills may also apply
