Apply now and energize your career with a true leader in the global energy transformation.</p><p></p><p><b>Utility &amp; Infrastructure (Project Manager II)</b></p><p></p><p><b>Location:</b> Dayton, OH (Service Building)<br /><b>Work Model:</b> Primarily in‑person; occasional weekends/irregular hours as needed</p><p></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>As a <b>Capital Project Manager</b>, you will independently manage <b>large‑scale transmission, distribution, and infrastructure projects</b>, owning results from planning through construction. This role sits at the core of our PMO and plays a critical role in delivering projects that expand capacity, enhance reliability, and support long‑term system needs.</p><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Do</b></p><ul><li>Manage <b>multi‑million‑dollar capital projects</b> ($5M–$50M&#43;) with full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and risk.</li><li>Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, cash flows, and risk registers.</li><li>Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure construction milestones and outages are executed safely and on time.</li><li>Lead procurement planning, scope development, bid evaluations, and contract administration.</li><li>Track and forecast project costs; provide detailed monthly reporting for PMO and leadership.</li><li>Identify risks early and drive mitigation strategies.</li><li>Support mentoring and development of junior PMs.</li><li>Participate in PMO process improvement and lessons‑learned initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We’re Looking For</b></p><ul><li>3–7 years of experience managing capital construction projects.</li><li>Utility, infrastructure, or data center experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.</li><li>PMP preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and Oracle P6 strongly desired.</li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>AES is an Equal Opportunity Employer who is committed to building strength and delivering long-term sustainability through diversity and inclusion.
