    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Operates company owned trucks and trailers to transport materials inbound, outbound, and between inventory holding locations. Delivers materials to customer yards, jobsites, and other staging locations. Transports materials between branch locations as required. Prepares materials for transport and loads it into/onto relevant equipment. Properly secures the materials for movement over the road. Works under the supervision of the Branch Manager and works together with Team Members to build and understand scheduling requirements. Ensures transportation equipment is properly maintained.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Inspect transportation equipment to ensure safe operation and schedules maintenance as required; trucks, trailers, and load securing equipment</li><li>Operate a pickup truck/trailer combination</li><li>Follow safe loading practices and secure cargo for transport</li><li>Prepare and complete necessary paperwork as required to document deliveries</li><li>Communicate with Logistics Coordinator, Sales Team, and Branch Manager</li><li>Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operations</li><li>Maintain daily/weekly logs of activities including relevant DOT paperwork</li><li>Ensure compliance with company. state, and federal policies and guideline</li></ul><p><strong>Job Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>1-3 years in transportation or related role</li><li>Working knowledge of shipping related terms</li><li>Working knowledge of oilfield equipment/goods</li><li>Ability to create/complete shipping documentation</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to safely operate a pickup truck/trailer combination; truck, bumper pull, gooseneck, specialty trailer</li><li>Ability to operate material handling equipment; pallet jack, forklift, telehandler, other items as applicable</li><li>Must pass background, motor vehicle history, and drug screening</li><li>Must meet DOT driver program requirements</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Outdoor environment </li><li>Constant travel with occasional overnight stays</li><li>Vehicle operation of 5+ hours per day</li></ul><p>This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature of work performed by job holders within this position.
