    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>We seek a mid or senior-level software engineer with an existing DoD security clearance to support the NCRC Eglin Site Services effort to enhance and transform NCRC Enterprise software, tools and hardware. This position will work with a team of engineers within the Government facility at Eglin AFB, FL.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide support to the Modernization of NCRC</li>\n <li>Improving and streamlining processes toward DevSecOps and CI/CD paradigms</li>\n <li>Designing and enhancing the NCRC architecture with modern technologies</li>\n <li>Re-assessing and increasing NCRC capabilities</li>\n <li>Operate as a developer on an associated NCRC product scrum team</li>\n <li>Develop unit tests for development assignments and support integration testing efforts</li>\n <li>Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process</li>\n <li>Evaluates, analyzes, and modifies moderately complex application programs</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications</li>\n <li>Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms</li>\n <li>Works on most phases of applications programming activities</li>\n <li>Analyzes and resolves problems associated with applications</li>\n <li>Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems</li>\n <li>Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>#LI-DH1</em> </p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering with 7 to 12 years of work-related experience</li>\n <li>Knowledge of software development to include agile software development practices; programming languages; operating systems; networks; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP, etc.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of one or more of the following: MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and</li>\n <li>Experience in applying Lean software principles (Agile, Spiral, Waterfall)</li>\n <li>Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks</li>\n <li>Knowledge of node.js, express server-side web development</li>\n <li>Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX</li>\n <li>Experience developing unit tests and contributing to integration tests</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment</li>\n <li>A self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented individual</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Experience with cyber testing or training to include knowledge of defensive and offensive cyber tools and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) a plus</li>\n <li>Current Secret clearance with the ability to pass comprehensive background check to obtain TS/SCI.
