    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong>This position allows for a hybrid arrangement with a mix of work from home and in the office.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will offer you the opportunity to manage the execution of multiple transmission, substation and distribution projects. The position will involve coordinating with multiple internal and external departments to manage the life cycle of capital project execution.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management</li>\n <li>Take ownership for all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting and client experience through entire project life cycle</li>\n <li>Accountable for all phases of the project life cycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and close out</li>\n <li>Manage and direct the project team to ensure accountability; mentor and coach team members</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with client functional leads and stakeholders</li>\n <li>Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed safely, satisfactorily, on time, and within budget</li>\n <li>Support the reporting of key performance indicators for schedule, budget and other dashboard items</li>\n <li>Identify and control construction risk</li>\n <li>Recognize, identify, track and control change</li>\n <li>Communicate and consult with appropriate stakeholders and supervisors</li>\n <li>Prepare reports that project information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements</li>\n <li>Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential skills and experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>7+ years of experience in Project Management of Utility, Construction, Engineering, or other relevant experience</li>\n <li>Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams</li>\n <li>Experience in capital project management</li>\n <li>Experience with serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities is critical to success</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative team setting</li>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Comfortable with approximately 10-25% domestic travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Valued but not required skills and experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A BS in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar degree</li>\n <li>Engineering design experience is a plus</li>\n <li>PMP Certification is a plus</li>\n <li>Construction/field knowledge or experience is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Award-Winning Benefits</h2>\n<p>At Sargent & Lundy, we care about the health and well-being of our employees.
