    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Hamilton or Auckland | 3–5 PQE</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">We’re looking for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Civil Litigation</span> lawyers to join our high-performing Civil Litigation team in either Hamilton or Auckland.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a developing litigator to build on their experience while working closely with Partners and Special Counsel on a broad range of civil and commercial disputes. While experience in construction or competition litigation would be an advantage, we are equally interested in strong general civil or commercial litigators who are keen to continue developing their skills within a collaborative and nationally recognised firm.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our Civil team works on high-profile matters across New Zealand and provides strategic advice on important issues for public and private clients. You’ll be supported by experienced senior lawyers, with opportunities to develop your skills and take on increasing responsibility for matters as your experience grows.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3–5 years’ PQE</span> in civil or commercial litigation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication and drafting skills, with developing advocacy experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Good judgement and a willingness to continue building commercial awareness</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience supporting or managing aspects of litigation matters</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">High attention to detail and commitment to quality work</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from senior lawyers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Construction or competition litigation experience (advantageous)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support and assist in progressing civil and commercial litigation matters</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Draft pleadings, affidavits and submissions with appropriate guidance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Appear in Court (commensurate with experience)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist in providing advice across a range of dispute types</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work closely with Partners and Special Counsel on complex matters</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with teams across the firm on contentious issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Support client relationships and contribute to team initiatives</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">As your experience grows, you’ll take on increasing responsibility for managing matters and client work.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">About Us</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">We are an award-winning law firm with offices in Hamilton, Auckland, Rotorua, and Tauranga.
