With over 25 years’ experience and a comprehensive range of specialist services to its name, Waystone helps our clients structure, operate and grow through our expertise, innovation and digitisation, backed by the operational scale to support global expansion</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary:</span> Reporting to a Director/Associate Director in the Investment Management Oversight team and the Designated Person for Investment Management, the Manager will be an integral part of the team’s success.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysing the investment process and performance of Waystones client portfolios for the Management Company (both UCITS and AIFMD).</li>\n<li>Tracking developments in markets to understand the implications for Waystone’s UCITS and AIFMD fund ranges incorporating equity, fixed income, balanced funds, hedge fund, private equity and private debt strategies.</li>\n<li>Reviewing fund-related reports provided by Investment Managers, Administrators and Depositaries.</li>\n<li>Drafting documentation for monthly review by Waystone’s Investment Oversight Committee.</li>\n<li>Participating in regular calls with world-leading Investment Managers.</li>\n<li>Preparing/reviewing investment commentary and performance reports for Fund Boards.</li>\n<li>Undertaking research across a variety of investment fund topics as requested by Senior Management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A third level degree</li>\n<li>A professional qualification (finance/accounting /CFA charter holder or candidate/CAIA); or working towards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>4+ years of experience in the fund management / ManCo / Investment/Asset management industry.</li>\n<li>Experience analysing the investment performance of client portfolios for a Management Company (both UCITS and AIFMD) and/or experience of fund performance measurement and attribution is an advantage.</li>\n<li>Experienced within a variety of investment asset classes. Knowledge of CP86, UCITS &amp; AIFS, European/Central Bank of Ireland fund regulations is desirable.</li>\n<li>Understanding of ESG in the context of investment will be favorably considered.</li>\n<li>A high level of proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required.</li>\n<li>Experience with Bloomberg, MSCI Sustainability systems, RiskMetrics, R, Python or similar would be beneficial.</li>\n<li>Clarity of analysis and of expression, both written and oral.</li>\n<li>A commitment to on-going professional and personal development.</li>\n<li>Excellent research skills and attention to detail.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
