    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>MBC Companies (Alpha Foods), a manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products located in Waller, Texas is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager. &nbsp;The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within the facility, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, efficiency, quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership, a robust understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced environment. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, meeting budgetary goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff and equipment performance, and driving continuous improvement.</p><h3 data-pasted=\"true\">Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily maintenance needs to meet internal performance goals, minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety and quality standards in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Lead, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing and technically competent workforce.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive reliability and reduce downtime.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs, auditing for scope, frequency and accuracy to ensure proper care of critical assets. &nbsp;</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Sanitation, and Safety to ensure seamless plant operations.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, labor utilization, equipment uptime, and material yield.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Promote and enforce safety protocols, cultivating a culture of safety and accountability across the organization.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Manage labor resources effectively to meet operational needs within budgetary constraints.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and internal and external stakeholders.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Maintain spare parts inventory and manage vendor relationships to ensure availability of critical components.</h3></li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><h3>Support capital projects, equipment installations, and plant expansions.</h3></li></ul><p><br></p><h3 data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred; equivalent work experience considered.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar regulated production environment, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC controlled equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with CMMS</li><li>Understanding of food safety and regulatory compliance standards (HACCP, GMPs, SQF/BRC, OSHA).</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and maintenance reporting tools.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, specifically under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus</li></ul><h3><strong>Work Environment and Physical Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li>Must be able to work in cold, wet, and noisy environments typical of food production areas.</li><li>Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and other shifts as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p></div>\n",
