At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. Lyft connects people to transportation to change the way we live and get around our communities. Lyft is North America’s leader in micromobility. We provide the software that powers BIXI, and we own and/or operate bikeshare in New York (Citi Bike), Chicago (Divvy), San Francisco (Bay Wheels), Portland (Biketown), Boston (BlueBikes), and DC (Capital Bikeshare). We are looking for a passionate Product Designer to join our Montreal office to work on Lyft’s micromobility Operations Technology team. As a member of the Operations Technology team, you’ll be responsible for evolving the platform that drives the global on-the-ground operations of our business. You’ll be designing features that are used in warehouses, vans, & on-the-ground to make our transportation systems some of the most reliable in the world. You’ll confront complex technical challenges & advocate for experiences that delight our operators and promote efficiency. Our Montreal office developed the first automated bikes-share system in North America and continues to work on the platform today that provides state-of-the-art electric bikes and scooters for tens of millions of rides per year. As a product designer at Lyft, you will be involved at every step of product development, from brainstorming broad ideas to ensuring design quality through launch. Using your full range of interaction, visual, and product thinking skills. Our Design and Research teams live and breathe a user-centered process to create the best possible, end-to-end, experience for riders all over the world. We can be scrappy when we need to be, though we are always focused on quality and influence. As a qualified candidate, you have a track record of leading projects to successful outcomes for users and the business. You are a strong cross-functional partner, a great communicator, and are able to take a solution from idea to implementation. You uphold a high-quality bar and have a strong appreciation for the details. Above all, you approach problems holistically and create elegantly simple solutions to multi-faceted problems. Responsibilities: Problem solve, think big, and explore divergent concepts/ideas while understanding how to converge and build iteratively towards your vision.
