Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Cleanup is looking for an individual to drive a successful recruiting strategy to meet the needs of the business. This on-site person will recruit and help retain service professionals for our plumbing, excavation and water cleanup teams.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Roto-Rooter, North America’s largest provider of plumbing & water cleanup services, is a great place to work. We are looking for an individual who is able to manage our sales and service team, sell our excavation and industrial services to commercial and residential customers, and oversee production to join our team as our <strong>Hiring Manager</strong> at our Baltimore branch located Elkridge, MD.  The salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000, depending on experience.  There is also opportunity for a branch performance based bonus.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Field Training Manager/Hiring Manager primary role is to hire and retain employees for the branch by recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching. May provide support to increase sales, customer service and overall productivity levels while minimizing turnover. This position requires significant time in the field recruiting and working with technicians and sales representatives. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage, coach and mentor a team of sales and service professionals to provide quality services to our customers.</li>\n <li>Recruit sales and service team using active recruiting methods.</li>\n <li>Ensure monthly manpower goals are met.</li>\n <li>Increase revenue by developing existing business and cultivating new customers in both residential and commercial markets.</li>\n <li>Follow up with customers from leads provided by field service technicians.</li>\n <li>Prevent or handle customer issues.</li>\n <li>Develop additional business opportunities by selling Roto-Rooter’s preventative maintenance and priority care programs in both residential and commercial markets.</li>\n <li>Conduct work-site reviews to ensure safety measures are utilized.</li>\n <li>Monitor your team’s performance standards weekly and meet with sales and service teams to review and determine areas where additional training is needed.</li>\n <li>Accompany service technician to customer sites to observe performance and provide coaching and training in various aspects including customer service, sales to include offering additional products and services, building commercial customer base, and safety/OSHA requirements.</li>\n <li>Analyze sales metrics to ensure team members are maximizing each opportunity and achieving their individual sales goals.</li>\n <li>Manage talent acquisition data through an ATS portal.</li>\n <li>Screen resumes.</li>\n <li>Interview candidates.</li>\n <li>Ensure monthly manpower goals are met.</li>\n <li>Source and manage both active and passive candidates on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards.</li>\n <li>Monitor your team of new recruits, including periodic ride-alongs, to determine whether additional training is needed to ensure performance standards are met.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>What you need to succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Experienced hiring manager with a track record of recruiting and developing a solid team of sales and service professionals</li>\n <li>Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail and thrives in a bustling environment</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service experience</li>\n <li>Service industry experience is strongly desired</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Have demonstrated experience sourcing and maintaining a pipeline of candidates</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of advanced recruiting platforms/techniques, including the use of social media</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>At Roto-Rooter we believe our greatest investment is in our employees.
