We believe making disciples of Jesus happens in the context of relationship and that small group environments are where we grow spiritually in community with other believers. We also live to serve and connect our local community to hope through our variety of mission efforts and care ministries. You will find our Sunday morning worship to be contemporary and energetic with Bible based teaching focused on understanding and applying God’s word as truth in our lives. At The MET, we are asking God to build a thriving community of people who are following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and committed to the mission of Jesus.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">About This Role:</span></p>\n<p>The Pastor of Women’s Ministry provides spiritual leadership, care, and direction for the women of the church by cultivating environments where relational discipleship can thrive. As the primary leader for Women’s Small Groups, she champions connection, growth, and community while also overseeing Bible studies and ministry events that engage women at every stage of life. Through pastoral counseling and intentional leadership development, she equips and empowers women to live out their faith and to actively serve and disciple others within the church and broader community.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Who You Are: Competencies, Abilities, &amp; Character Qualities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You love Jesus and are committed to growing as a disciple by abiding in Christ, living in meaningful relationships with others, and being a disciple-maker (John 15, Acts 2, Matt. 4:19, Matt. 28).</li>\n<li>You are a visionary leader who clearly casts and champions a compelling vision for Women’s Ministry, aligning people and initiatives and leading others to execute with purpose, unity, and impact.</li>\n<li>You are a galvanizing leader who naturally encourages and mobilizes others, building and developing volunteer teams that take ownership of ministry and advance the mission of the church. You get to serve alongside a team with a unified mission to make disciples who make other disciples while also utilizing your unique gifts to serve and lead in your assigned span of care.  You get to experience a healthy staff culture that is rooted in love, discipleship and celebrating the glory of God.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">What You Will Do:  Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Spiritual Leadership &amp; Discipleship</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Live out the core virtues and mission of The Met to invite others into meaningful relationship with God and each other.</li>\n<li>Provide pastoral leadership and care by cultivating environments where relational discipleship can thrive.</li>\n<li>Personally invest in the spiritual growth of women through prayer, biblical counsel, and intentional discipleship relationships.</li>\n<li>Champion a culture of discipleship by equipping women to grow in their faith and actively disciple others.</li>\n<li>Discern and respond to care needs, offering direct support or connecting women to appropriate care resources.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ministry Strategy, Events &amp; Engagement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide vision, direction, and oversight for women’s ministry environments, including Bible studies, events, and connection points.</li>\n<li>Lead, resource, and support women’s Bible studies, including identifying, training, and equipping leaders to teach and facilitate.</li>\n<li>Ensure all ministry expressions align with the church’s overall discipleship strategy and mission.</li>\n<li>Empower volunteer leaders to plan and execute ministry initiatives that effectively serve women across various life stages.</li>\n<li>Foster a healthy volunteer culture marked by ownership, collaboration, and spiritual growth.</li>\n<li>Regularly evaluate ministry effectiveness and engagement, making adjustments to better reach and disciple women.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Small Groups </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide spiritual oversight of the discipleship process within small groups and their leaders.</li>\n<li>Relationally invest in and equip leaders and apprentices through modeling, coaching, and training.</li>\n<li>Collaborate in the development of small group curriculum aligned with sermon series and church initiatives.</li>\n<li>Regularly assess the health of small groups, leaders, and participants, providing support as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Ministry Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the church database to effectively track engagement and participation.</li>\n<li>Partner with Adult Ministry leadership to develop and manage ministry budgets in alignment with church objectives.</li>\n<li>Relationally connect with first time guests and those interested in joining small groups to foster assimilation into relational environments and next steps in their discipleship journey.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Your Qualifications: Education &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are a fully committed follower of Jesus Christ and a member of The Met Church (or willing to transfer membership to The Met).</li>\n<li>You agree with and act in accordance with The Met’s Statement of Beliefs.</li>\n<li>Must be actively leading a discipleship small group.</li>\n<li>You have been called by God into full-time ministry and are actively involved in making disciples who go and make other disciples of Jesus Christ.</li>\n<li>You have a personal commitment to live out the 7 Essentials: abiding in Christ; reaching the lost; connecting the unconnected; chasing the strays; intentionally shepherding people towards spiritual maturity; identifying, equipping and releasing leaders; and functioning as a team.</li>\n<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of directly related ministry experience in a discipleship focused environment.</li>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of related ministry leadership experience.</li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software. Able to quickly learn and adapt to new technology &amp; systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Hours and Work Environment:</span></p>\n<p>This is a full-time, salaried position.  A typical work schedule is Sunday through Thursday and may include Friday &amp;/or Saturday to meet the needs of various ministry events. As for all staff members, it’s important to maintain a healthy work/life rhythm and schedules may need to adjust from time to time to support this effort.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Light physical activity performing administrative and pastoral work in an indoor office setting. </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"> </span></p>",
