The Planner/Scheduler in this role will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Open to internal and external candidates</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The Integrated Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining the comprehensive master schedule for a multi-facility ground test complex. This role ensures alignment of test activities, facility availability, engineering deliverables, and operational milestone to support mission and program objectives. The position requires cross-functional coordination, schedule risk management, and strategic planning across multiple concurrent test campaigns.</p>\n<p><u>              </u></p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to reflect program requirements, milestones, and dependencies. This includes consolidating schedule inputs from various teams to ensure accuracy and synchronization</li>\n <li>Identify, document, and integrate program requirements into the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and IMS to align with program objectives and cross-agency activities. This involves working with cross-functional teams to coordinate schedule integration between different schedules and the master schedule</li>\n <li>Provides time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to execution conflicts </li>\n <li>Develop and analyze “what-if” scenarios to assess the impact of potential changes and provide actionable recommendations</li>\n <li>Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments</li>\n <li>Perform schedule integrity checks as needed to ensure data informing decisions is accurate and up-to-date</li>\n <li>Generate and present schedule metrics and reports to program management and stakeholders</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project managers and functional leads to ensure resources are appropriately allocated and leveled within the schedule</li>\n <li>Regularly communicate schedule status, risks, and opportunities to all project stakeholders</li>\n <li>Maintain project schedules, action trackers, and deliverables using project management and tracking tools</li>\n <li>It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field plus at minimum of at least 8 years of post degree experience</li>\n <li>Understanding/experience using Integrated Planning Theory</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network</li>\n <li>Due to Air Force Security requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active DoD Secret clearance</li>\n <li>A minimum of 5 years’ experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, or similar tools</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complex, dynamic schedules with numerous external dependencies</li>\n <li>Ability to focus on strategic planning beyond dynamic day-to-day pressures</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to present schedule status and risk assessments to technical and leadership audiences</li>\n <li>Must be a self-starter that thrives in a dynamic team environment willing to learn technical aspects of the role with which he/she is unfamiliar </li>\n <li>Must be very well organized and detail oriented</li>\n <li>AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional Certification or Project Management Professional Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salaries</li>\n <li>Continuing education assistance</li>\n <li>Multiple healthcare benefits packages</li>\n <li>401K with employer matching</li>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO) along with a federally recognized holiday schedule</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p>\n<p>Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is a fully populated joint venture of Astrion and Fluor Federal Services, Inc. formed to provide unmatched Test Operations and Sustainment services for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex.</p>\n<p> We chose our name to serve as an enduring reminder of our commitment to AEDC’s rich aerospace research and development legacy anchored in AEDC’s Toward New Horizons founding study and the unprecedented opportunities to greatly expand AEDC’s capabilities and capacity Beyond those existing today.
